I Will Trust in You by: Lauren Daigle

I heard this song on the radio while I was driving the other day and it immediately brought me to
tears (not that it is hard to do - I'm a bit of a crier).

This song is just so powerful regardless of whether you well-up fast or not. It talks about how sometimes, we want to see God do what we want him to do. We want this good grade, we want
this boyfriend, that scholarship, this internship, that job, whatever it is that we are fervently praying for in that moment!

...but sometimes, God's answer is simply, "No."

Sometimes, God is waiting for us to let go of what we want out of life so we can follow in His extra-ordinary plan! He wants us to lay our dreams down at His feet because the dreams that He has for
us are so much greater than we can even imagine.

There have been so many times in my life were I have been so selfish and mad at God because there was something that I thought that I needed from Him and was praying so hard for it, but yet His answer was simply, "No".

This song has helped me to realize that I cannot know everything that God has in store for me
but when he says, "No," I need to be prepared for something great to happen, something far beyond what I can fathom.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know what I have planned for you," says the Lord. "I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope."

Until next time,
with love in Christ,
